Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Carry out a class session from a prepared lesson plan in the absence of the permanent teacher.
• Maintain a safe, healthy and therapeutic learning environment.
• Additional duties will be discussed in detail during the interview.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in any field

New York State provisional/initial/conditional initial certification in the appropriate specialty

New York State permanent/professional certification in the appropriate specialty

New York State permanent/professional certification in the appropriate specialty and two years of post-certification teaching experience
