Job summary

Qualifications

• Four year degree from a college or university.
• Major, or 24 semester hours, in subject area to be taught.
• Passing score on Praxis II Test in subject area to be taught and NC teaching license/certificate.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements an instructional plan aligned with the IEP goals.
• Employs diverse teaching techniques to meet individual student needs and IEP objectives.
• Develops and implements annual IEPs including present levels, needs, goals and services.
• Provides direction, supervision and evaluation of educational assistants as directed.
• Completes district and state reporting requirements.
