Job summary

ConnectedHealth in Bethel, NC is seeking a Special Education Teacher (Adaptive Curriculum) to deliver adaptive instruction to elementary students. This 36-week contract offers competitive compensation and opportunities to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).

The role requires Special Education certification, EC Adaptive Curriculums certification, and at least 1 year of adaptive curriculum experience, with collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Special Education certification and EC Adaptive Curriculums certification or equivalents.
• NC background/fingerprints and EC Adaptive Curricul Cert.
• Minimum 1 year experience with adaptive curriculum in elementary/middle settings.
• Must have background checks and strong classroom management; able to work with adaptive curriculum.
• All necessary licenses or certifications to be reimbursed or expedited.

Responsibilities

• Deliver adaptive curriculum instruction to elementary students in a classroom setting.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans tailored to students' needs.
• Collaborate with team members and support staff to enhance instructional strategies.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and participate in team meetings.
• Create an inclusive, engaging learning environment that fosters growth.
