Job summary

Cherry Creek Schools is seeking a Severe Needs Para Educator to support students with severe special education needs under licensed staff supervision. Responsibilities include adapting curriculum for individuals and small groups, and preparing instructional materials while maintaining progress records.

Remote learning support, technology access facilitation, and execution of IEP-related procedures are part of the role, with duties distributed across ILC, SED, and Homebound programs as outlined

Qualifications

Criminal background check and fingerprinting required.
High School Equivalency (HSE) diploma.
No professional work experience required.
Title I assignments criteria: two years of college, associate’s degree, or validated knowledge via assessment.

Responsibilities

Assist students with classroom activities and adapt curriculum for individual needs.
Maintain records of student progress and behavior with licensed staff.
Prepare materials, administer tests, and assist with paperwork and events (e.g., fire drills).
Assist with online/remote learning and technology support.
