Job summary

Reach for Resources, Inc. is seeking compassionate staff to assist with skiing and snowboarding lessons for children with disabilities at Elm Creek Park. You will work within the Parks and Recreation program to provide 1:1 support and inclusive participation.

The role requires evening and weekend availability, a willingness to lift up to 30 lbs, and ability to downhill ski or snowboard. Training and background checks are completed as part of onboarding.

Qualifications

• Ability to downhill ski and/or snowboard.
• Experience with children with disabilities preferred.
• Must pass background check.
• Must have driver’s license or reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Act as assistant coach, program leader, or instructor with city parks staff.
• Assist and engage children during programs and provide 1:1 support.
• Provide instruction and behavioral support; adapt activities as needed.
• Complete inclusion paperwork.
• Collaborate with staff and families to maximize participation.
