The City of Peoria's Adaptive Recreation Division seeks an Adaptive Recreation Leader to plan and deliver inclusive programs for residents with disabilities in Peoria, AZ. You will support events such as Friday Night Dances, Social Events, DDD programs and Special Olympics activities, ensuring safety and accessibility while promoting community engagement and independence.

Standard hours and competitive hourly pay ($16.74–$18.83) are offered; you must have a high school diploma, be 18+, and hold

Competenze

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years or older to apply.
• Must have at least 6 months of volunteer or work experience with individuals with disabilities.
• Must have a current CPR/First Aid certificate or be able to complete training.
• Must possess a valid Arizona Class “D” Driver’s License upon hire.

Mansioni

• Assist with Friday Night Dances, Social Events, DDD Programs, and Special Olympics sports within the Adaptive Recreation Division.
• Support adaptive programs to meet the needs of the adaptive population in Peoria.
