Job summary

Special Strong is seeking dedicated personal trainers to deliver adaptive 1-on-1 sessions and lead small group classes for clients with disabilities. You will update client profiles, prepare workouts, and conduct regular fitness assessments within a 15-mile radius of our on-site locations.

Ideal candidates hold CPR/AED and an approved trainer certification, are comfortable with technology, and have experience with special needs.

Qualifications

• CPR/AED certification is required.
• Certification through NCCA/NASM/ISSA/ACE or related degree is required.
• Must be available to travel within a 15-mile radius.
• Comfortable with smartphones and basic computer use.
• Prior personal trainer experience with special needs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialized 1-on-1 adaptive training and lead small group classes for individuals with disabilities.
• Update and review client profiles; prepare for upcoming workouts.
• Conduct fitness assessments and re-assessments regularly.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Available to work at participating on-site location/within a 15-mile radius

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certification
• Approved Personal Training Certification (NCCA/NASM/ISSA/ACE) or College Degree in Exercise-Related Field
• Available to travel within a 15-mile radius of the job posting location
• Comfortable with smartphones and basic computer operation
• Prior Personal Trainer experience is preferred, but not required
• Any experience (volunteer or professional) with special needs will result in high-priority
