Job summary

Special Strong is seeking trainers to deliver personalized adaptive fitness sessions to individuals with disabilities and special needs. You will conduct 1-on-1 training and small group classes, updating client profiles and preparing for workouts.

We provide CAFT certification, comprehensive training from day one, and ongoing development. Enjoy a flexible schedule, a supportive office, remote opportunities within a 15‑mile radius, and a path toward advancement in a rewarding career.

Qualifications

• CPR and AED certification required.
• Approved personal training certification (NCCA/NASM/ISSA/ACE) or degree in exercise-related field.
• Willingness to travel within 15 miles of posting location.
• Comfortable with smartphones and basic computer use.
• Prior personal trainer experience is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certification
• Approved Personal Training Certification (NCCA/NASM/ISSA/ACE) or College Degree in Exercise-Related Field
• Available to travel within a 15-mile radius of the job posting location
• Comfortable with smartphones and basic computer operation
• Prior Personal Trainer experience is preferred, but not required
• Any experience (volunteer or professional) with special needs will result in high-priority
