Job summary

Breckenridge Village is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for PRN, short-term medical coverage on our Breckenridge Village campus. You will provide nursing care, respond to medical needs, and collaborate with staff to ensure resident safety and welfare.

The ideal candidate has LVN licensure in Texas, BLS/First Aid certification, and experience with IDD adults. This role offers flexible hours to meet campus medical coverage needs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an LVN program.
• Current Texas LVN license.
• BLS and First Aid certifications.
• Experience with IDD adults preferred.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide short-term nursing coverage for residents.
• Assess health concerns and coordinate medical care.
• Manage medication ordering, delivery, storage, and MAR audits.
• Document health information in EMR within 24 hours.
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation and notes.
• Communicate with Nurse Manager and QIDP as needed.
• Respond to emergencies and contact 911 when required.
