Job summary

Medlinkhealth Anesthesia Associates is seeking a flexible Float Pool Registered Nurse (RN) to support Medical/Surgical and Progressive Care units. You will float across Medical, Post-Surgical, and IMC/PCU, delivering direct patient care, patient education, and timely EMR documentation.

The role requires 2+ years of Medical-Surgical nursing in a hospital setting, an active RN license, and BLS/ACLS certifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years medical-surgical nursing experience.
• Recent hospital acute care experience within the last 5 years.
• Willingness and ability to float between Medical, Post-Surgical, and IMC/PCU units.
• Active RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Float between Medical Care Unit, Post-Surgical Unit, and IMC/PCU as needed.
• Provide comprehensive nursing care for medical-surgical and progressive care patients.
• Monitor vitals, respond to emergencies, and escalate as appropriate.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure safe discharge planning.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment, and home care.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation.
