Job summary

Troy University in Decatur, AL, is seeking an assistant to support the ADRS Adaptive Driving Program. You will work with the Certified Driving Rehabilitation Specialist to evaluate and train clients, maintain adaptive equipment, and help with vehicle maintenance and scheduling responsibilities.

Preferred candidates hold a High School Diploma and Alabama driving certifications, including CDL-related credentials, with valid Alabama driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Credentials of Certified Driving Instructor, or eligible for certification in Alabama.
• Certified in Alabama as a 3rd party License Examiner or eligible.

Responsibilities

• Assist the CDRS in evaluation and training for ADRS Adaptive Driving Program (ADP).
• Maintain specialized adaptive equipment and devices for ADT/ADP use.
• Perform scheduled maintenance, service, and minor repair of vehicles and mounting equipment.
• Schedule service-related work and support operations for the ADRS program.
