Job summary

The Y in La Crosse, Wisconsin is seeking an Adapted Aquatics Instructor for a part-time weekend role. You will support the Adapted program at Dahl, Houser and Bigley locations, providing supervised aquatic activities and ensuring a safe, inclusive environment.

Responsibilities include behavior modification as needed, enforcing safety regulations, applying policies, and setting up or taking down equipment. Prior YMCA swim instructor or Red Cross W.S.I. is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Strong communication with youth and adults.
• Lifeguard experience preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certifications preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
