Job summary

Cosmo is seeking experienced educators to serve as tutors on an independent contractor basis. Tutors will provide personalized 1 on 1 instruction for K-12 students in subjects like math and ELA. With a flexible schedule, tutors can set their availability between 3-10 PM EST weekdays or weekends. A Bachelor’s Degree and at least three years of teaching experience in K-12 math is required, along with the ability to create a welcoming online learning environment for students.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience teaching grades K-12 in math.
• Teaching license preferred but not required.
• Fast and reliable internet connection and access to a Windows or Mac PC with a minimum CPU of 6000.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1 on 1 instruction for your students.
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials for the student's age and ability.
• Attend all classes on time and in a professional setting.
