A leading tech consulting firm in the United States is seeking an experienced Adabas / Natural Software Developer for a long-term contract. The role involves the analysis, design, implementation, and support of Motor Vehicle mainframe applications, requiring a minimum of 5 years in NATURAL and ADABAS development. Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of NATURAL Software Development experience.
Minimum 5 years of ADABAS database development experience.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
Analyze, design, implement, and support existing Motor Vehicle mainframe applications.
Write new code and revise/adapt existing code as needed.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application defects.
Maintain and support applications according to specifications.
Perform system testing and debugging based on results.
Work independently and collaboratively in a team.
Communicate effectively with technical teams, management, and end users.
Evaluate and recommend system upgrades and improvements.
Provide support, including after-hours corrective actions.
Participate in product design reviews for quality assurance.
Document all work including technical documentation and updates.
