Mercy is seeking a Public Safety Officer to provide fire, safety, and security protection for coworkers, patients, and visitors. This role promotes fire and safety prevention and performs duties in alignment with Mercy's Mission, Values, and Service Standards.
Minimum requirements include a High School Diploma and being 18 years old or older, a valid driver's license, and the ability to obtain local, state, or federal Public Safety/Security licensure within 90 days of hire.

Certification/Registration: Complete Basic 16hr Public Safety/Security course within 180 days of hire (May be done as part of licensure) Federal, State, and Municipal licensure allowable timeframes will have precedence over internally established timeframes for IAHSS certification.
