Job summary

MTM Transit is seeking a Mobility Assessment Evaluator to review ADA paratransit applications, conduct interviews, and perform functional assessments to determine eligibility. This part-time role is based in Stockton, CA with 32 hours per week and flexible scheduling to support our mission of removing barriers and delivering accessible transportation.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, 3+ years of relevant experience with disabilities or ADA regulations, strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Services, Rehabilitation, Ancillary Health Care Profession, or a related field
• 3+ years of professional experience working with individuals with disabilities
• Knowledge of ADA regulations and sensitivity to disability issues
• Strong interviewing, assessment and observational skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to communicate findings clearly in reports and letters
• Additional language skills preferred
• Commitment to confidentiality and serving the elderly and disabled populations
• Ability to multitask and work flexible hours
• Experience with functional assessments of individuals with disabilities

Responsibilities

• Review ADA paratransit applications, intake forms, and verification documents
• Conduct in-person interviews and functional assessments
• Determine eligibility for ADA paratransit services
• Maintain accurate documentation and timely determinations
• Input information into client software (Trapeze) and generate reports
• Collaborate with MTM and Client leadership and QA teams
• Participate in training, meetings and outreach as needed
• Provide high-quality customer service to applicants and providers
• Protect confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA standards
