Job summary

Sedgwick is hiring an ADA Accommodation Coordinator to process claims and determine accommodation options in line with ADA, state, and client guidelines. This role requires analyzing medical information and referencing in-house resources to support eligibility reviews.

The position supports a hybrid work model and requires living near one of Sedgwick's centers of excellence in the U.S. This role emphasizes compliant claims handling, timely referrals, and professional client relationships.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two (2) years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• One (1) year of benefits or claims management experience preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• PC literate, including Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Informs claimants of required documentation, time frames, and claims status by phone or written correspondence.
• Reviews medical information to determine ADA eligibility per state and client requirements.
• Makes determinations to approve non-complex ADA claims or advises denial with team lead.
• Determines accommodation options and refers for disability or leave eligibility reviews.
• Conducts initial employee interviews per process guidelines.
• Uses clinical and vocational resources for case assessment.
