Job summary

EPM is partnering with an innovative commercial-stage biotechnology company to recruit an Associate Director of HEOR & Real-World Evidence. This role sits in a growing global evidence generation team and shapes strategies to support market access, reimbursement, and value demonstration for a first-in-class therapy.

The successful candidate will lead observational research, manage real-world data analyses (claims, EHR), and drive dissemination through publications and conferences.

Qualifications

  • Significant HEOR, RWE, or epidemiology experience within pharma or life sciences consulting.
  • Expertise designing and executing observational studies and real-world evidence programs.
  • Publication and scientific dissemination experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute global RWE strategies and evidence-generation plans to support reimbursement, access, and value demonstration.
  • Design and manage retrospective, prospective, pragmatic, and implementation science studies using real-world data sources.
  • Analyze claims, EHR, and other real-world datasets to demonstrate treatment effectiveness, burden of disease, and healthcare outcomes.
  • Lead dissemination activities including publications, congress presentations, and technical deliverables.
  • Provide strategic evidence support for payer, HTA, and market access needs globally.

Job description

EPM is partnering with an innovative commercial-stage biotechnology company seeking an Associate Director of HEOR & Real-World Evidence to join a growing global evidence generation team.

This individual will play a key role in shaping evidence strategies that support market access, reimbursement, and value demonstration for a recently launched specialty therapy addressing a significant unmet medical need. The position offers high visibility across Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Biostatistics, Market Access, and Commercial functions.

We're looking to speak with candidates who bring:

  • Significant HEOR, RWE, or Epidemiology experience within pharma or life sciences consulting
  • Expertise designing and executing observational studies and real-world evidence programs
  • Experience with claims, EHR, and other real-world data sources
  • Publication and scientific dissemination experience
  • A track record partnering cross-functionally to support access and value initiatives
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute global RWE strategies and evidence-generation plans to support reimbursement, access, and value demonstration.
  • Design and manage retrospective, prospective, pragmatic, and implementation science studies using real-world data sources.
  • Analyze claims, EHR, and other real-world datasets to demonstrate treatment effectiveness, burden of disease, and healthcare outcomes.
  • Lead dissemination activities including publications, congress presentations, and technical deliverables.
  • Provide strategic evidence support for payer, HTA, and market access needs globally.

Desired Skills and Experience

Liver disease, metabolic disease, NASH/MASH, or specialty pharmaceutical experience is advantageous.
