Job summary

Qualifications

• RN with BLS certification.
• 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred.
• Able to perform nursing processes: assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation.
• Administer medications and treatments with monitoring of effects.
• Document patient history, symptoms and care provided.
• Educate patients and families as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process for assigned patients.
• Assess, diagnose, plan, intervene and evaluate patient care.
• Address complex psychosocial needs of patients and families.
• Administer medications/treatments and monitor outcomes.
• Document patient history, symptoms and care given.
• Educate patients and families; delegate tasks as appropriate.
