Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process with assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation.
• Administer medications and treatments using appropriate protocol; monitor for side-effects and effectiveness.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medication and care provided.
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, families and caregivers.
