Job summary

CHRISTUS Health Beaumont seeks a competent Registered Nurse to provide independent, patient-centered care in a similar clinical setting. The RN will perform nursing processes, document care, and delegate as needed to manage the clinical situation.

The role requires a BSN (preferred), BLS, and an RN license in the state or compact. Schedule is 7AM–7PM; work type is Per Diem As Needed, with at least 1 year of related nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meets expectations of the applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
• Provides nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation.
• Addresses complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patient and families.
• Administers medications and treatments; monitors for side-effects and effectiveness.
• Documents patient history, symptoms, medication, and care given.
• Assesses learning needs and provides education to patients, family members and/or care givers.

Education

Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, preferred
