Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare Northwest is seeking an Acute Inpatient – Telemetry Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. You will collaborate with physicians and care teams to provide compassionate care and follow nursing models to ensure outstanding outcomes.

Requirements include a nursing degree (Associates or BSN preferred), Texas RN license (or Multi-State with Texas license within 90 days), BLS/ACLS, and 1 year of Med-Surg experience in an acute setting.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited school of nursing; Associates or BSN preferred.
• Current Texas RN license or multi-state compact with Texas license within 90 days.
• American Heart Association BLS/ACLS certification required.
• Ability to interpret basic EKG rhythms within 6 months.
• 1 year of Med-Surg experience in acute care is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the nursing care for assigned patients in the unit to ensure quality care.
• Provide age-appropriate care based on physical, psychological, safety and educational needs.
• Use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Lead by collaborating with ancillary staff to maintain professional nursing standards.
