Job summary

ScionHealth Paramount is seeking a skilled registered nurse to provide comprehensive patient care in a 177-bed hospital with LTACH and ARU units. The role encompasses planning, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care, with emphasis on interdisciplinary collaboration, patient education, and discharge planning.

The ideal candidate will have nursing credentials (certificate/diploma or higher), English fluency, and reliable attendance.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medications and their correct administration based on patient age and condition.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and orders.
• Ability to organize tasks, set priorities and function under stress.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration with departments.
• Fluent reading/writing/speaking English.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process.
• Develop and update nursing care plans with patient, family and team.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to physicians and staff.
• Assist in discharge planning and patient education.
• Provide and supervise nursing care within licensure scope.
• Administer medications following the five rights and document accordingly.
• Support physicians with exams, treatments and procedures as needed.
• Maintain patient safety and reduce risk of errors.
• Participate in orientation and training of new staff.
