Qualifications

• Must possess current valid Physical Therapy Assistant License.
• Minimum 1 year experience working in an acute rehab setting as a physical therapy assistant.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and perform patient treatments under the direction of the Physical Therapist using various procedures and instructions.
• Prepare schedules for patients' treatment and clean and disinfect equipment as needed.
• Provide patient education and complete daily progress notes.
• Ensure accurate charge entry and related documentation.
• Provide transportation and support as part of patient care.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
