Kindred Hospital The Palm Beaches in West Palm Beach, FL seeks a Nursing Assistant to support patient care in an LTACH/ARU setting. You will assist with ADLs, provide emotional support, and help maintain patient comfort under RN supervision.

Required CNA certification, BLS, and at least 6 months in acute or long-term care. Strong communication and teamwork are essential for daily operations and safety.

Qualifikationen

• Must read, write and speak fluent English.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Able to organize tasks, develop action plans, set priorities and function under stressful situations.
• Minimum six months’ experience in acute or long-term care facility.
• Current Nursing Assistant Certification and BLS Certification.

Aufgaben

• Assist in patient care under the direction of professional nursing personnel.
• Support activities of daily living and provide emotional support.
• Take and record vital signs and document results promptly.
• Prepare patient rooms and assist with admissions, transfers and discharges.
• Answer call lights and paging system; respond appropriately.
• Perform routine treatment procedures under RN supervision.
• Assist with patient meals and feeding.
