Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking a diligent RN Clinical Nurse for the Acute Pulmonary Medical Surgical Unit at Kennestone on a Day shift (7a-7p). The role requires current Georgia RN licensure, BLS, and a passion for evidence-based practice within a collaborative, governance-driven environment.

As part of an interdisciplinary team, you will provide patient- and family-centered care, perform the nursing process, and contribute to outcomes.

Qualifications

• Associates or Diploma in Nursing or BSN preferred.
• Current RN license in Georgia is required.
• BLS certification required at hire (Basic Life Support).

Responsibilities

• Perform the nursing process (assessment, diagnoses, outcomes, planning, implementation, evaluation)
• Provide patient- and family-centered care.
• Coordinate care with an interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.
• Document care and maintain accurate records in the medical chart.
• Participate in performance improvement and evidence-based practice initiatives.
• Support professional practice standards and comply with policy and ethics requirements.
