Job summary

The Wellstar Health System is seeking a RN Clinical Nurse for the Acute Pulmonary Med Surg Unit at Kennestone. This role is full-time days, 7a–7p, with a sign-on bonus eligible.

The nurse will deliver high-quality, individualized patient care within an interdisciplinary team and under nurse leadership. Licensed nurses provide relationship-based care, align with Wellstar practice models, and support governance, safety, and service-excellence goals while coordinating patient care and family

Qualifications

• RN license required or compact license valid in GA
• BLS certification required upon hire
• Less than 1 year of nursing experience; direct patient care preferred
• Associates or Diploma in Nursing, Bachelors in Nursing preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing process with evidence-based care
• Provide patient-centered care across age/gender/population
• Coordinate care and document outcomes and plans
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and governance activities
