Job summary

Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in Georgia is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Acute Care MedSurg unit. This full-time, day shift (7am-7pm) role requires current Georgia RN licensure or eNLC eligibility and a current BLS card. A BSN is preferred and direct patient care experience is valued.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team, applying evidence-based practice and the WellStar governance model to deliver safe, compassionate care to adult patients in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current Georgia license or eNLC privilege.
• BLS from American Heart Association required on first day of employment.
• Direct patient care experience in acute care settings preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities; proficient with basic technology/hospital systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, safe nursing care in a Med/Surg acute care unit.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team under nurse managers and shared governance model.
• Follow the Georgia Nurse Practice Act and ANA Code of Ethics in daily practice.
• Engage with patients and families, upholding service excellence and patient voice.
• Uphold standards of care and participate in ongoing professional practice model.
