Job summary

MultiCare Tacoma General Hospital in Tacoma, WA, is seeking a Physical Therapist to evaluate, plan, and implement medically prescribed treatment programs to restore function, relieve pain and prevent disability after disease or injury.

This PRN, day-shift role features weekend rotation and sick/vacation coverage, with a focus on high-quality therapeutic care within a supportive hospital team.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of state board examination.
• Currently licensed to practice physical therapy in the State of Washington.
• Experience in orthopedic, neurologic, cardiac patient management desirable.

Responsibilities

• You will perform well in stress and emergency situations
• You will perform patient evaluations/re-evaluations, establish a treatment plan, and modify the treatment plan according to the needs of the patient and response to treatment
• You will perform treatment interventions for outpatient and/or inpatient population as directed
• You will perform documentation in the medical record that is timely and accurate
• You will communicate well with patients, peers, other health professionals in the coordination of care for the patients

Education

Licensed to practice physical therapy in Washington
