Job summary

Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation in Tacoma, WA is seeking a Physical Therapist for our Home & Community Program. You will provide functional PT services in clients' homes and community settings, focusing on real-world mobility and independence.

This PRN W2 position offers flexible scheduling, comprehensive support from an interdisciplinary team, and reimbursement for travel time and mileage, with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current, unrestricted Physical Therapy license in the practicing state.
• Current BLS/CPR certification per state regulations.
• Minimum of one year of PT experience preferred.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques for neurological injuries.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; may lift up to 100 pounds with safety procedures.
• Duties require walking/standing for extended periods and manual dexterity.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans.
• Regularly reassess effectiveness of treatment plans; attend staffing meetings and family conferences.
• Perform discharge evaluations and provide home/community safety recommendations.
• Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, and family.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure coordination of care and improve outcomes.
