Job summary

AdventHealth seeks a licensed Physical Therapist to provide expert patient care in a full-time daytime schedule at our Parker, CO facility. The role includes developing and adjusting treatment plans, documenting progress, and supervising PT assistants while maintaining productivity and safety standards.

Responsibilities also involve patient education, community outreach, and participating in performance improvement and quality initiatives to uphold AdventHealth’s mission of holistic care.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Windows, and electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• [Required] Ability to read, write, and speak conversational English effectively.
• [Required] Ability to communicate effectively in written, verbal, and electronic formats with patients, staff, physicians, nurses, and administrators.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clinical knowledge and performance improvements using best and evidence-based practices.
• Establish, implements, and adapts individualized treatment plans with goals, activities, and frequency.
• Document accurately, completely, and timely using measurable terminology.
• Oversee care provided by PT assistants and rehabilitation therapy aides.
• Maintain productivity standards and time management to meet patient needs.
• Ensure patient and caregiver education and discharge planning as appropriate.
• Participate in practice changes resulting from performance improvement initiatives and quality standards.
