Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• An approved, nationally accredited training course in Phlebotomy preferred.
• Certification from ASCP or NHA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect and process blood specimens for testing in the laboratory.
• Label, process and deliver specimens for testing.
• Collect blood specimens using age-appropriate techniques.
• Maintain equipment and medical supplies.
• Assist with coordinating and conducting blood drives, including interviewing and screening donors.
