Job summary

Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedics Institute (OHJOI) is seeking an RN for acute care in a per diem night shift with a 1:6 patient ratio to deliver high-level nursing care in a fast-paced specialty unit.

You will maintain critical care skills, monitor complex equipment, and collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to develop and revise individualized care plans. Florida RN license and current BLS are required; ACLS/NRP/PALS/TNCC may be required in designated areas.

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license
• Current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification
• ACLS/NRP/PALS/TNCC are required for certain areas
• 1 year nursing experience preferred unless AVP level or above

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates critical knowledge, skills, and judgement to care for patients requiring complex assessment and therapies.
• Monitors and adjusts equipment and interprets monitors and vital signs.
• Responds to life-saving situations following nursing standards and protocol.
• Develops and revises an individualized plan of care based on patient needs and responses.
• Documents patient care accurately and in compliance with regulatory standards.
