Job summary

AdventHealth's AHMG Rothman Orthopedic in Orlando is seeking a registered nurse to evaluate post-operative patients, perform wound checks, and document care. The role requires a current RN license and CPR certification, with ongoing education to stay HIPAA-compliant.

The position runs Mon-Fri, 7:45am-4:30pm, with occasional weekly float to Lake Nona. You will use clinical judgment to guide patient care and coordinate with the care team.

Qualifications

Demonstrates ability to communicate in English.
Computer skills including MS Office.
Ability to multi-task.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Must be customer service oriented.
Must have excellent decision making skills.

Responsibilities

Examines post-operative patients and performs wound checks for infections.
Previews charts pre-operatively and documents pertinent information.
Uses clinical judgment to direct patient care after post-op calls.
Completes continuing education and maintains CPR and RN licensure.
Removes staples, sutures, and bandages as directed.
