Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing is required.
• RN with ASN/ADN must complete BSN within four years from hire unless exempt.
• Current RN license in the state of practice is required.
• BLS-HCP certification at hire or within 60 days; ACLS/NRP/PALS as appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.
• Coordinate care with LPNs and CNAs; participate in clinical team conferences.
• Follow hospital policies, evaluation and documentation guidelines.
• Provide compassionate communication and individualized treatment plans.
• Support ongoing learning and professional development on the 8 Med/Surg unit.
