Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to support recovery and independence.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, case managers and rehab staff for coordinated care.
• Document evaluations, progress notes and discharge summaries per hospital/regulatory standards.
• Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques and adaptive equipment.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, infection control procedures and safety standards.
