Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy.
• Current license to practice Physical Therapy (PT).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.
• Completion of required continuing education on acute stroke care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and treats patients of all ages and designs an appropriate plan of care.
• Demonstrates safe body mechanics and transfers with appropriate support.
• Educates patients, families and staff using effective teaching methods.
• Evaluates clinical findings to determine PT diagnoses and outcomes.
• Documents care according to policy and regulatory standards.
• Collaborates with the rehabilitation team and provides supervision to supporting staff.
