Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s Degree and Field of Study in Physical Therapy.
• Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) with current credentials.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire and ongoing continuing education.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and treats patients of all ages; designs and adjusts plan of care.
• Explains plan of care to patients and families; educates staff.
• Performs patient transfers with proper body mechanics and safety.
• Documents clinical findings, plan of care, and outcomes per policy.
• Collaborates with medical team; supervises PTA and rehabTechs as appropriate.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
