Job summary

Mass General Brigham’s Bigelow 14 unit is seeking a Staff Nurse to join a 27-bed acute medical unit. You will work in a collaborative, patient- and family-centered environment with primary nursing and a skilled interdisciplinary team including a Clinical Nurse Specialist and Nurse Director.

Ideal candidates hold MA RN licensure (BSN preferred) with 1 year RN experience and 2 years acute care preferred. Onsite at 90 Blossom Street, 36 hours per week with rotating days/nights; strong communication

Qualifications

• Ideal candidate would have BSN strongly preferred.
• Minimum of one year of RN experience; at least two years of recent acute care experience preferred.
• Education: Associate's Degree Nursing required or Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.
• Administer medications to patients and monitor for reactions or side effects.
• Record patients' medical information and vital signs.
• Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.
• Consult and coordinate with healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans.
• Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patients' responses and conditions.
