Job summary

Tufts Medical Center is seeking a Clinical Care Technician (CCT) for the Adult Complex Medical Unit (Proger 7). This 36 hrs/week role requires assisting licensed nurses, supporting activities of daily living, and maintaining patient safety across day, night, and weekend shifts.

The ideal candidate holds a CNA or MA credential, BLS, and a background in acute care or inpatient nursing support. A strong, compassionate team player with solid communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Assists the professional registered nurse in patient care and comfort.
• Supports activities of daily living with safety and empathy.
• Maintains patient dignity and communicates findings to nurses.
• Works under supervision and follows physician orders and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Assists with patient care and safety in the unit.
• Responds to patient and family requests promptly and notifies nurse as needed.
• Transports patients and prepares rooms for admission or discharge.
• Operates and troubleshoots basic equipment as directed by nursing staff.
• Performs hourly rounding and monitors patient comfort and safety.
