Atrium Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Academic Med-Surg unit, offering growth in clinical assessment, critical thinking, and teamwork. You will care for adult medical and surgical patients in a fast-paced, learning-focused environment that values safety, education, and patient-centered outcomes.

Expect involvement in governance, evidence-based practice, and professional development, with a sign-on bonus for eligible candidates and opportunities to float across units as needed

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where care is provided.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsabilités

• Engage in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care and apply evidence-based practices.
• Use the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care with patients and families.
• Monitor patient conditions, adjust care plans, and collaborate with the care team to influence outcomes.
• Uphold a culture of safety and maintain timely EHR documentation.
• Float to other units as needed to meet patient care needs and age-specific requirements.
