Atrium Health Navicent is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Academic Med-Surg unit. This role supports adults with medical and surgical needs, delivering high-quality care and clinical education while fostering teamwork and confidence.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the appropriate state(s).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, governance and quality initiatives to improve care.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement and evaluate care.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts plans and collaborates with the team.
• Upholds a culture of safety and ensures accurate documentation.
• May administer medications and therapies per clinical protocols.
• Maintains patient and family communication and inter-department coordination.
• Pursues ongoing education and maintains certifications as required.
