Job summary

Lower Bucks Hospital in Bristol, PA is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care in the Med/Surg/Telemetry unit, using the nursing process to assess and respond to patient needs. You will collaborate with physicians and support staff to ensure safe, high-quality care.

Required are an active PA RN license and BLS; ACLS is preferred. Prior acute care and ventilator management experience are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current preferred.
• Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
• Ventilator Management experience preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse delivers safe patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice in Med/Surg/Telemetry.
• Directs patient/family teaching and guides other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care.
• Communicates with physicians about changes in condition, diagnostic results, and treatment responses.
