Universal Health Services is hiring a PRN Licensed Inpatient Therapist to join our inpatient team. The therapist will conduct psychosocial assessments, treatment planning, and provide psychotherapy groups within a multidisciplinary setting.

The role involves crisis intervention, discharge planning, and collaboration with families and care partners, ensuring compliance with Joint Commission and state regulations across our behavioral health facilities.

Qualifications

• A MSW or Master's in Counseling from an accredited program.
• Ohio-licensed LSW/LISW/LPC or LPCC is required.
• Two years of mental health or substance abuse treatment experience with group therapy, crisis intervention, and treatment planning.
• Commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with diverse populations.
• Adaptability and resilience in change and ambiguity.
• Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.

Responsabilités

• Deliver CBT services to children, adolescents, and adults addressing behavioral health, mental health, and substance use concerns.
• Manage and oversee all assigned client cases.
• Collaborate with each client’s care team, including families and external partners.
• Provide resources, referrals to community-based or external services when needed.
• Coordinate crisis intervention and emergency response with external institutions.
• Complete clinical documentation and administrative tasks accurately and timely.
• Pursue ongoing professional development to stay current on evidence-based treatments.
• Maintain professionalism in all client and stakeholder interactions.
• Communicate proactively with clients, clinical partners, and the practice’s administrative team.
• Engage in continuing education opportunities and supervision sessions.
