Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support the dialysis team at Newton Wellesley Hospital and Hebrew Rehab. The role involves 3-4 shifts weekly with every other Saturday coverage, and training will be provided to ensure competency.

The position requires supervision by a Fresenius RN, with responsibilities including monitoring vital signs, setting up dialysis equipment, and maintaining safety and quality standards across multiple facilities.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must hold a PCT national certification or state-specific certification per CMS guidelines.

Mansioni

• Provides patient care under RN supervision in the acute setting.
• Maintains a safe, clean working environment.
• Supports quality improvement activities and TAP goals.
• Operates and primes dialysis equipment as directed for various therapies.
• Monitors patient vital signs and weight; communicates findings to RN.
• Records treatment data accurately on the Hemodialysis Treatment Sheet.
• Assists with cannulation and manages dialysis parameters per orders.
