Job summary

U.S. Renal Care, Inc. seeks an Acute Registered Nurse to provide dialysis care in a hospital setting. You will supervise patient care technicians and LPNs, ensure compliance with regulations, and support infection control initiatives.

Responsibilities include administering medications, completing assessments, documenting care, and coordinating with hospital staff to optimize patient outcomes. A strong emphasis on safety and quality metrics is required.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in applicable state or compact.
• 12 months or more nursing experience preferred.
• Previous dialysis nursing experience preferred.
• CPR certification required.
• Ability to pass color screening.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of the English language and ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
• Must have basic computer skills; proficiency in USRC clinical applications required within 90 days of hire.
• Must meet any practice requirement(s) for the applicable state.

Responsibilities

• Provide acute dialysis care and supervise Patient Care Technicians and Licensed Vocational Nurses.
• Perform duties as assigned by Charge Nurse or Acute Manager.
• Assist with clinical and operational processes to improve patient health and reduce hospitalizations.
• Administer medications as ordered by the physician.
• Provide patient education and follow up as needed.
• Prepare and maintain dialysis machines and systems per policy.
