Job summary

Acute Dialysis Care is seeking a Dialysis Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care in acute hospital settings contracted with the agency. The RN will follow physician orders, ensure safety, and coordinate with hospital staff and nephrologists.

The role requires at least 1 year of RN experience in Med/Surg/ICU/CCU/ER and preferred certification in nephrology dialysis disciplines. Overtime availability and regional travel are expected as part of the duties.

Qualifications

• RN license in the practicing state.
• 1+ year of RN experience in Med/Surg/ICU/CCU/ER or similar.
• Hemodialysis nursing experience preferred in acute or chronic settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for dialysis patients per physician orders and policies.
• Administer and monitor dialysis treatments, document vitals, and assess patient response.
• Supervise and direct care of other staff in the treatment area as needed.
• Communicate with hospital staff and nephrologist to coordinate care.
• Complete documentation on approved forms and reporting tools.
• Learn and perform dialysis modalities (HD, PD, CRRT, Apheresis) as needed.
