Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking a CT Scan Technologist to operate computed tomography scanners and explain procedures to patients. You will administer contrast media and schedule patients in an organized manner per approved protocol.

Responsibilities include reviewing history, screening for allergies, and coordinating with other departments to ensure safety, quality and efficiency in patient care. This is a night shift role with 36 hours weekly.

Qualifications

  • ARRT-certified radiologic technologist (ARRT)
  • Ohio Department of Health radiologic license
  • BLS certification (American Heart Association)
  • Graduate of an accredited radiography program

Responsibilities

  • Operate CT scanners for a variety of procedures per protocol.
  • Explain procedures to patients and obtain consent.
  • Administer oral and IV contrast media as requested.
  • Review patient history and allergies to determine contraindications.
  • Coordinate workload with other departments to optimize flow.
