Job summary

OhioHealth seeks a CT Technologist to operate CT scanners for diverse procedures. You will explain procedures to patients, review histories, and prepare/ administer contrast media as directed. Ensure organized scheduling and adherence to protocols in a high-quality care setting.

Requirements include ARRT certification, Ohio radiologic license, BLS, and graduation from an accredited radiography program. Day shift with 40 hours weekly in the Radiology department.

Qualifications

  • ARRT certification and Ohio radiologic license required.
  • Graduate of an accredited radiography program.
  • BLS certification required or within scope of practice.

Responsibilities

  • Operates CT scanners for a variety of procedures.
  • Explains procedures to patients and obtains clinical history.
  • Administers oral and IV contrast media as requested.
  • Coordinates workload with other departments and maintains safety and quality.

The position is responsible for explaining procedures to the patients, administering contrast media as requested, and scheduling patients in an organized manner.
