Job summary

TriHealth is hiring an Acute Care Tech II (PCA) for the Observation Unit in the CVICU at Bethesda North Hospital. This on-site, part-time role supports RN staff, helps manage patient flow, and contributes to safe, efficient patient care in a high-acuity setting.

You will assist with basic care, documentation, and communication using hospital systems while maintaining competencies and safety standards. BLS and 2 years of HS education are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of high school education.
• Age 17 with work permit.
• BLS certification required.
• Reading and math ability appropriate to the position.
• Experience with multi-line phones, call systems and pagers.

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge need for self-growth and accountability; support unit changes.
• Communicate effectively with health care team and patients; assist with flow.
• Maintain a safe environment and report hazards; complete safety reports.
• Perform basic patient care tasks under RN supervision and document tasks.
• Assist with supply, equipment, and environmental activities as required.
• Maintain medical records and assist with clerical duties as directed.
